Game gets an assist from Chris Brown for this official new single for The R.E.D. Album called “Pot Of Gold”. Right away, there is a subdued, yet mainstream vibe to the production, which helps set the tone for some reflective and nostalgic lyrics from Game & Chris. Game’s verses were even a little self-reflective and also contained the usual references to peers in the rap game or famous people that I’ve sometimes come to expect. They’re on point though (like the Pujols line that concludes a verse) while Breezy does his thing with a meaningful hook as well as on the bridge. So, I gotta say, “Pot Of Gold” comes correct all around and I think it will be a well-received single to help build the buzz for The R.E.D. Album, currently slated for August 23rd!
